Also, using one as a tennis ball is horrible and will get you imprisoned for cruelty against animals.

Also, a cat would almost certainly not be up to ITF official standards for use in any competition. And it would be difficult to fit cats into cans, as they would grow too large during the shipping process.

Never assume that anything spherical must be a tennis ball. More likely than not you will be mistaken.

Kittens don’t actually bounce at all.

If you try to use any small animal as a tennis ball, you should be beaten with a tennis racket until your face looks like a waffle.

And once this state is reached, the cat can see if your face makes a tasty substitute for waffles.

correction: if hit with enough strength, they actually will bounce at a playable height. their lifespan however is not very enduring, so it would be wiser to stick with the standard tennis ball to maximize your playing experience

Actually this cat is not spherical. The angle of the camera only makes it look this way. If this cat had the ability to bounce (it doesn’t) it would bounce unlike a tennis ball, but more similar to the unpredictable bounce of a foot ball, and exactly like a cat with the ability to bounce.

But this cat IS fuzzy like a tennis ball – but you’d think the independent movement, eyes, nose and absolute cuteness would tell you that it is not indeed a tennis ball.

Does anybody see the irony in people threatening others with violence for suggesting using a cat as a tennis ball?

This kitten is not likely as spherical as it looks. The photo is simply taken from an angle that only shows the very round head.

The foot of the side would be a bit of a problem as far as balls go, but since this is a kitten, I think there should be about 3 more.
