Due to the fact that the cat is able to push itself back so far, it seems to be able to leave at any time. It also seems that it’s pushing itself further away in an attempt to hide itself from the people taking photos.
Cats often enjoy warm, soft surfaces. This surface looks as if it would probably warm and soft. Perhaps the cat is not only not stuck, but is enjoying staying where it is.
