If by “being kissed by” you mean “mauling, decapitating, removing various internal organs and leaving them in the living room”… a kitten might enjoy that. One might also note that rodents lack lips and therefore would have difficulty kissing anyone. One might also note that this caption misspells “squirrel”, but that would be unnecessary.
Also, even if squirrels had lips capable of kissing, ‘kissing’ is a human concept that animals do not understand. The squirrel is probably sniffing at the kitten in order to try and understand what it is.
The squirrel could be grooming on sniffing the kitten. My squirrels would actually groom my hand… good memories… I miss them, but we see one every day. and what is that red stuff on his fur?
Actually, mad the swine – chimpanzees also kiss to express affection or acknowledge dominance. Considering they’re our cousins, however, point well taken.
Sorry to dissapoint you Silly Goose, but it is in fact a squirrel, not a chipmunk. Chipmunks have distinctive white stripes on either side beginning near the eye, and continuing down along their backs. This is a squirrel, seeing as it does not posses these features.
