Cats feed on small prey such as insects, birds, and rodents. Cats tend to consume many small meals in a single day, although the frequency and size of meals varies between individuals.
People also tend to overfeed their cats. Cats are originally from desert conditions so they don’t really require fat or other ‘luxury ingredients’. They however tend to eat what they’re given, even excess food (well, look at humans and you understand;)
My cats eat fruit. And bugles. And marshmallows. And extraordinarily burnt toast. And mac and cheese. And pretty much anything else one could put in one’s mouth. Mine have also been known to frequently eat mice, shrews, rats, birds, and intelligently deficient squirrels, snakes, rabbits, and the occasional pheasant.

Fat cats make good rugs and eating, However they are not people food, People food is a diet of alot of moderate sized creatures and plants and dairy prodcts, however, we could it them we do not because many people find the idea repulsive
