One might use the expression “frozen in time” to describe a photograph, because a photograph is “frozen” (it doesn’t move) and does capture a particular moment in time. So while it is just a photograph, the cat pictured could definitely (and somewhat poetically) be described as “frozen in time.” This does not, however, mean that there is any way to un-freeze it.
Actually, “Mikey!”, this cat is not going to land on it’s feet — it already has. This is a photograph from a past event, the resolution of which is long since completed. To anticipate the sequence of events following this photograph is actually a speculation on things which have already occurred.
And, monsignor JTS; I am somewhat inclined to agree. I found your comment to be pleasantly average and, quite frankly, quick and to the point — an astute observation meant to discount a rather frivolous (and not at all average) comment that preceded yours.
Phew! For a second, I was worried for that poor kitty stuck in time. But because time is not frozen, that second passed and I am no longer worried, just typing this comment.

Though this would certainly be an interesting tourist attraction if the cat were indeed frozen in time. More interesting than some of the others.
