this is the best average cats so far. I think it would make a good end to the average cats movement, however, as something so meta can only go so far before it outlives it’s artistic value. After that, you’re really just repeating the same joke over and over.
A good end to the AverageCats movement? You cannot stop what has only just begun! Hell, this site beats out the entire ICHC network for humor, cleverness, and originality from the first post up through now. Onward, say I, to new horizons of averageness!
I’m so honored that my humble submission was chosen! I’d like to share the part the fine folks at AverageCats cut out: I wanted the commentary at the bottom to say “Real cats would not participate in such fuckery.”
These people are dressed in a manner made to make us think they are trying to look like cats, so as to set the scene for a fictional play wherein a number of feline characters engage in other human-like behaviours, thus anthropomorphising such things as we often observe about cats by attributing human emotions and motivations to their oft-erratic displays of behaviour.
