Fatty(momma kitty) is normally a loving cat,and I have really bonded with her,being that its her first litter. I was attacked about 5 minutes after I stopped taking pictures. She scratched and bit me as I was trying to settle the her and the kittens back in for a feeding,she would not let go! Then she climbed my leg and attacked my face, biting and scratching me the whole time! Then I knocked her off me and on to the table right next to me and then she leaped onto my head and latched on my face and head with her claws,and bit chunks of flesh out of my head!!! My son came to my rescue and knocked her off of me,and now I'm afraid of her and do not know what to do with her?!! Will she recover or will she always associate me with the flash? Should I give her away or will she do this every time someone uses a camera on her with or without a flash? I will never use a flash on any animal again, I did not know I could hurt an animal in any way shape or form with a flash ! I'm just a Mom who wanted to take some cute pictures of my cat & her kittens. Hidden due to low comment rating. Click here to see.

They do what camera's are. They are aware of the fact that these objects make noises and sometimes shine red lights in their eyes, and flash. That's where a cat would be able to gain the knowledge to run or shift when they see it to thus ruin or prevent a picture.
