Not true. They do what camera’s are. They are aware of the fact that these objects make noises and sometimes shine red lights in their eyes, and flash. That’s where a cat would be able to gain the knowledge to run or shift when they see it to thus ruin or prevent a picture. Though it is true that they don’t know what the significance of pictures are.

they also know what a vacuum cleaner is, since it make a a lot of noise and is very big.
although they don’t really know what it is other then the fact that it’s loud as hell and that they better run away from it, well most do some just ignore it or are irritated by the noise
