There once was a cat in an edifice
That’s terribly nosy and curious.
It wormed in a socket
‘Lectricity shocked it
Which made it quite cranky and furious.
Cats like to play with string. They also do not differentiate between string and electrical cord. But maybe this cat doesn’t want to play with the cord. It seems to be focused on something else. Perhaps there is a fly on the wall.
But whatever its motivations, it still stands that the cat is not worried about electrocution.
Even if cats did understand the Laws of Physics, they would not be concerned about being shocked as cats are not conductors nor could they fit any part of them far enough into the socket to get shocked. Even if they really tried.
@snazzycactus (I like the name by the way) what about their claws those might fit, and they are conductors because they are animals and therefore partially made up of water.
People are quite good conductors too. *evil laugh*
True but it would be much more difficult to run an electric current through a cat than a piece of metal for instance. For example, you wouldn’t see very many people trying to light up a bulb using a battery and a cat. And someone would try it. There are some sick people who live in this world. (oh and I like you’re name too; I choked on a meatball once)
electricity and flow between resistors, transistor adapter has much to do with the physical laws of nature, yet the statement is true in saying the cat cannot in fact comprehend them.
the fallacy lies with understanding though, which is the perception of knowledge. Cats cannot analyze why they fall to the ground after they jump, yet they always land on their feet.

Yes, cats are very curious and they just want to sniff/touch/bite anything that they see.

If the cat were concerned about shocking himself, he probably wouldn’t be sniffing the outlet.

Seriously, how do you come up with those nearly seamless rhymes? It is truely amazing.

I guess he read the books as much as me, but remembered them better.

does the cat understand gravity?
