Actually leaving food out all the time is only dangerous if you change the feeding habit from a couple times a day to leaving food out all the time. Neither of my cats are fat or over weight and we have a giant thing of food constantly out all the time.
I do nt think this cat has eaten anyone, Moreover I find it extremly unlikely it can talk and give commands, I do, however, Agree with the concept of showing your cats the respect they deserve.
